符永刚是一位享誉国际的美术家和书法家。毕业于美国国际大学美术博士学位，
主修油画、中国水墨画及书法。1972年至1985年，他在亚洲和欧洲广泛旅行，
收集生活经验，学习艺术，绘画，并举办了许多展览。他杰出的艺术
和书法生涯长达50年，曾多次在国内外展览中荣获金奖。
Foo Yong Kong is a highly
acclaimed master Artist and Calligrapher
well known and recognised
internationally. Graduated with a Ph.D
in Fine Arts from the Inter American University, majoring
in Oil
and Chinese Ink Painting,as
well as Calligraphy.
Between 1972 and 1985, he
travelled extensively in Asia
and Europe, gathering
life's experiences, studying art,
painting and holding
numerous exhibitions. His distinguished
artistic andcalligraphy
career has spanned 50 years,
winning him many prizesand awards at
exhibitions
both locally and abroad.

为积极响应"通过高质量共建'一带一路'，携手推动构建人类命运共同体，共同创造人类的美好未来"的伟大号召，为青年文艺人才搭建良好、可持续发展的交流平台，传承开放、包容、多元、互鉴的海丝精神，充分挖掘与发挥侨乡优势及广大海外侨胞和归侨归眷的桥梁纽带作用，以艺术促进民心相通，以艺术共享文明成就，以艺术推动人文交流，以艺术凝聚发展力量，拟立足侨乡集美，推动人文集美建设，充分发挥东盟文化艺术交流中心在东盟国家华侨华人中的凝聚作用，于2021年12月26日举办东盟文化艺术创作季（第二季）——2021"当下与未来"国际当代艺术展。
In
order to respond positively to great call for "Jointly building a
community of shared future for mankind through high-quality Belt and Road
Initiative," to build an open platform for sustainable exchange and
development for young artistic talents, to pass on the inclusive, diverse and
mutual-learning spirit of the Silk Road, to make full use of Xiamen’s
advantages as a hometown of vast number of overseas Chinese and its role as a
bridge linking overseas Chinese and returned overseas Chinese, ASEAN Culture
and Art Creation Season (SeasonⅡ)–"The Present and Future"
International Contemporary Art Exhibition·2021 will be held by ASEAN Cultural
& Art Exchange Center on 26 December 2021. Through cultural exchanges, we
hope to bring people closer, to share achievements of civilization, to pool the
strength of development, as well as to promote cultural construction in Jimei
District.
